Hurricane forecasters monitoring two tropical waves; one is expected to approach the Caribbean

The tropical wave farthest off the African coast is generally headed west-northwest across the Atlantic and is expected to reach the Windward Islands, near southeastern Caribbean Sea, by week's end.
